Long letters, when conversations end, sighs, when you stare so hard into someone’s eyes and it feels as though you won’t ever understand them at all, polaroids, goodbyes, losing a loved one, bon iver, summer, solitude, knowing that you need someone so badly that it feels like you can’t live without them, reliance, the fragility of human life, bruises, let-downs, empty roads, snow, when there’s no line on the horizon, post-it notes, letting go, forgetting, when you know that some things won’t ever change, long bus rides with no one to talk to, forced smiles, reassurance, records, small towns, waves, eyelids, butterflies, being lost, weariness, flowers.
